Spark plug adapter for IH LB

I have a IH LB 1.5 to 2.5 hp engine. The spark plug in it now is an AC 76. I have not been able to find a replacement plug for it. The advertisment in Red Power magazine from REAM for spark plug adapters sounds like it might work. Has anyone tried this.

You can buy an adapter, or you can get plugs for the engine, whichever you prefer.

Your engine uses a 7/8 sparkplug, which any good auto parts store can get for you. Do you have a local O'Reilly's , or Advance Auto Parts?

Plugs which will fit would include the Champion "W" series plugs. You could ask for Champion W10, W12, W14, W18, W20, or W89D. These are different heat ranges, depending on the number. You might experiment, to see which works best in your engine.

You can also use Autolite 3076, or 3077.

Ask your local auto parts store if any of these plugs are available. If not, I suggest that you find a new auto parts store.
