I have a Jaeger cement mixer with what I have been told it an economy engine.Open crank hit and miss. It is mounted on it's original four iron wheeled buggy with wish bone tounge for towing.

I am interested in selling it if anyone is interested just Email me. It needs some work and the magnito is missing as well as the fuel system etc. If interested I can give any particulars.

I know it's been quite sometime from your last post, but I am looking for a Jaeger mixer. If you still have it I would be interested in any info/pictures you have of it.
Thanks.

Zane, maybe I can clear up a few things for you. Jaeger never made their own engines. They bought engines from the Hercules engine company and put the Jaeger name on them. A Hercules engine is usually green, while a Jaeger engine is usually blue. As for Economy, surprise! Economy was a Sears Roebuck brandname and the Economy engines were built by HERCULES. These engines were usually red. Many times, when someone finds what they know is a Hercules made engine, they do a thorough looking over the engine for traces of an old decal or some remains of paint. Green paint is a good indicator that the engine was sold as a Hercules, blue paint, that it was sold as a Jaeger, and red paint, that it was sold as a Sears Economy. I suggest that you do a websearch under " Hercules +engine". As for parts, Hercules engines are fairly common, and it should be possible to find the parts that you need.
