I have a wisconsin vh4d engine. It does"nt seem to be pumping gas from the tank through a brand new filter. Uhooked gas line and held finger over port on fuel pump while rolling engine over there did"nt seem to be any vacuum.Doe"s this sound right. Any ideas where I might be able to get a rebuild kit or even a used fuel pump. I don"t see any numbers on the one on the machine.

Mike, NAPA sells the kits and the new pumps. They should have the part # in their reference books, or you can take the old one off and take with you - only two bolts and the lines. More than likely it just has a bad diaphragm (there are two of them). Easily rebuilt - take out the old diaphragms, tap the new ones in place. Hope this helps.
