I have a major discombuberation on an Super A that I have inherited. First of all it has been converted to a 12v system. It has a Gen. and VR. But it will not charge. I recently put a new ammeter on it (the other was shot). With hot battery it will run fine until the battery is drained. What I am in need of is the wiring diagram for the charging system. I have a diagram for the m and it looks the same as set up on the Super A but when I followed the diagram the starter will not even turn over now, nor am I getting fire anywhere now.

I have had both the gen and vr tested at a starter/gen-alt shop. These guys have been in biz for 50 years and both check out fine.

I use the tractor and its almost time to start putting plows in the ground here. I am going to restore it hopefully this summer after all plowing and such has been completed for the season..
