How and what do I use to repair a ever so slightly leak in one of the vertical tubes ?? What type of cleaner, products, and equipment do I need ?? John Deere radiator.

I have used household ginger, silver powder, Bars-Leaks, and prayers. they all worked good. I changed the water pump in my motorhome, and slightly nicked a tube. the silver stuff sealed it up right quick, and it hasn't leaked for 4 years since! The only other way is to cut both ends of the tube, clean up the places where the ends go into the tanks, and solder them up! Muriatic acid will clean those spots.

hey sam this might not be much help at all but it could be worth looking into. I had talked to a guy in my area that had said our local case ih dealer carried a product you added to your coolant and it would plug just about any minor leak in a coolant system. for the life of me I cant remember the name of the product but he swears on it. You migh be able to check at a IH dealer they might all carry the product. Just something to look into.
