I have a ford 2000, has always cranked fine, but has a bad radiator. After removing the radiator, I tried to crank it to move it a few feet back into the shed, but it will not crank. Will removing a radiator prevent one from cranking? Thank you.

Short answer no it will not. But when you did that you probably pulled a wire off or messed something else up.

Thats what I was afraid of, but I saw no wires dangling.

All it takes is knocking one a little loose and it may not even drop off enough for you to see. You will need to look at all the wires from the switch to the starter and also the ones from the battery to the switch.

Not familiar with a Ford 2000,but might it have to be in nuetral or clutch depressed to crank ?

Not sure if it does or not, but I always do those things before I start it, but nothing works now.
