I have a 1968 Int. Cub Lo-Boy I usually set the points .016 or .017 lately my coil has been getting hot. Are the points too close? and what is the correct setting. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

On the left side of this screen, click on tune-up specs. There are several specs for the Cub, considering if it has a mageneo or distributor. This should clear up the question. Have Fun!!

All it says in in tune-up guide is; "set to specs"
