Am completely new to antique tractor restoration. How does one get the steering wheel & shaft off an H, and where might one find some front rims for it?

Quicken, Im not much into the H Models, but if they are the same as most of the JD Waterloo tractors, you have to first remove the steering wheel,,,,, ,then the steering shaft end bearing cap on the top front of the steering pedestal,,,,, ,,then the whole long steering shaft with its attached worm gear on the front unscrews and comes forward out of the steering box.

Post over on the Mother Deere pages for wheel info.
