I have a 1963 farmall 560 with 6cyl gas. When i purchased the tractor it looked like someone had put a new voltage regulator on it. The tractor does not charge. I was told that the polarity needs to be set on this, and every person i ask tells me a different way of doing this. If anyone has info on the proper way to do this, i would greatly appreciate it. Also my dad has a 706 which has a 6cyl gas engine "263", he was looking to upgrade to a 292 by putting larger bore sleeves in it. I would like to know if the same head can be used and if anything would need to be set up different, and also if anyone has any tips on performing this task. Thanks a bunch.
