Can anyone tell me where to fined diagram of spark plug cables .I took cables off and didn't mark the sequence .I know it is 1,3,4,2 but don't know which cylinder is # 1 and which plug on the distribution cap is # 1 and #2
Can anyone help please?

The cylinders go from front to back, starting at the front of the tractor it goes 1234. Pull #1 plug and put you thumb over the plug hole and when you feel compression pushing your finger off line up the timing makes and pull the dist cap and the rotor will be pointing to #1 on the cap.

To add to what Old posted.Pull the distributor cap first to see which way the rotor turns and then you will know which way to go with the wires.
