I am looking for a place or person that can restore my brass JD serial # tag. the tag is in good shape but the black ink(paint) needs redoing. any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike V

paint the tag the color you want it. take some fine steel wool and rub the paint off the raised letters slowly. works great. pg

Funny you mention that. I have this 30 year old perfectly restored gem that has original tags on it. Kinda takes the showroom shine off the "new" tractor. Makes you wonder what it looked like before restoration.....don't wanna know.
