Like on a farmall 350 or 450? The one's I am talking about are corroded. Is there a way to clean them up, or should I try and buy replacements?

If you can't clean it up and you want it to look good, you might check with a company that will re-chrome it for you. We had a Model-A and found it was much cheaper to have the stuff re-chromed than to buy reproduction parts. Nearly all large towns have at least one of these places.

Corn starch and alittle bit of water. nice mild abrasive and it gets the job done, with alittle elbow grease.

How about finding an auto trim specialist, that adds those chrome pretties to the rockers and lower body of the new pickups? The mylar plastic is thick, has adhesive and can be die cut to any shape you want. Have seen them make some pretty snazzy looking company names for the side of vans. Course its not original, but would sure look sharp, against that red paint. John in Ne.
