I live in northern Canada and have a Nufield 465 which has been running good for the winter snowblowing [which has been a lot] until today. I went up and down my drive way 3 times[1000'] each trip. On the 4th trip down the oil gaugage was OK as was the temp. and amp., but it just DIED. The fuel is 1/2 full, I put my hand on the side of the engin and was not too hot, the defuser is pushed in, switch is on. I tryed to start it, it turnes over and wants to start but won't. PLEASE HELP, it is stuck in the middle of my drive with a full load of snow and it is still snowing out and going down to -10F tonight.Thank you Gord.

Thanks Dave that is exactly what it was. Had to run an extension cord 120 yeards down the drive-way, to plug in the heater and battery charger and wait until the temp. rose[5 days]. Then she fired up just fine. I also added some conditioner to the fuel. Thanks again Gord

Had one of those once nice tractor. Sounds like a fuel problem maybe water in fuel. Also, had a plastic line rubbing on an injector line, and wore
ahole in the steel line. Fired up my JD 2640
yesteday ran terible would stall after about 2 min got it into the heated garage took off the filter
melted the ice out and ran good afterward. I think I
would check the filter for ice.

Gord, Is it a diesel engine, if so undo an injector line and turn engine over a couple of times keeping body parts away from fuel, if no fuel filters could be choked. Good Luck.
