Does anyone know what valve seats and valves will work to convert a WD-45 226 motor to run unleaded? Need Part #'s And Where To Buy? .Thanks For Any Help

There is absolutely no need to do anything special to any part of the engine. Just fill-er up with unleaded and run it.

Scared a whole bunch of people into unnecessary valve jobs.All this still didnt get the guy the part numbers he needed in case he dosent want to listen to this advice.

Pressing seats into a head is taking a chance for them to drop out.Some will disagree im sure,but no seat is in as good as from the factory.Alot of the unleaded disaster stories are hype.Amoco has been unleaded since the 1930s.There are two sides to this discussion but I personally advise you to not machine out your old seats from a perfectly good head.The interference fit is a tough press job also as everything must go just right.Just my opinion.

I'm not familiar with the specifics of a WD-45, but I, and many guys I know, run these old tractors of many different makes and models on regular unleaded without problems. The only thing I ever heard of was putting hardened valve seats on the exhaust valves when you are going to have the head off for a valve job anyway, but unless there is a problem, I wouldn't tear it apart just for that.
Your local machine shop should be able to get you the new seats when the time comes.

That would be a new one on me never heard of anything like that. I run all my tractors on unleaded fuel and have for years with no problems

I have used unleaded gas in my old tractors since the 70~s. Never changed anything
