ford 900 oil line to rocker ?

My friend wants to do a valve job on his ford 900
how is the bottom end of the oil line for the rocker assy held in. Normaly we try banging and prying an stuff like that but we is smarter than that now.

Mike,

If the 900 oil line is like the 641 (same 134or172 OHV) the oil supply line to the rockers is seated in the block with an o-ring.

It might be pretty stuck, but if you pull up & twist while saying the correct words it will come out (without bending).

Make sure you fish that o-ring out of the head & replace it if it doesn't come out intact.
