I was needing some information on a Case 750. The torque converter gets hot and the right side track will shift to high once in a great while and it seems to drag in the low gear. Any information would be appreciated.

Cecil, If that problem was in one of my 1000 case crawlers, I'd say you have a broken oil control ring on the clutch shaft. It's probably the outer one of the two as that is the one that separates the oil pressure between high and low range. The broken ring puts trans pressure into both clutches at the same time , this causes one to engage and one to try to engage causing it to make heat and will soon destroy the clutch . To check have all the levers in neutral, put one at a time in gear and take it back out. Clutch pressure should drop radically on the one with the bad oil control ring. email me maybe I can help. gmachine@aaahawk.com
