Can anyone give me any insight into how to rid my Ford Jubilee gas tank of a serious rust problem? It has almost rendered the tractor useless due to the clogging of the gas lines.

I understand a product called Red Kote might take care of the problem if I can get rid of the rust. How many quarts would you suggest for the tank?

I used Red Kote on a '53 Super M gas tank and it did the trick. My biggest hurdle was trying to tumble that big of a tank around by myself to slosh the red kote around in the tank. You might enlist a helper if you have one.

Had a 630 JD that had the same problem!
Used a product called Creem! pretty much the same thing as your Red Coat I think?
You will have to remove tank to do this.
Then I removed the sediment bowl and fitting from tank dropped in a few 3/4 inch nuts and rolled tank around and around so the nuts knoked the loose stuff off inside tank,washed it out with water several time drained and set out in sun till good and dry inside. Then you plug the fuel line fitting hole and pour in about a quart(most time a quart is enought unless your tank is really big) of the coating put the cap on and start rolling the tank around until the whole inside is coated! Drain out whats left in tank and sit aside to dry! This stuff bond to the inside of the tank sealing the rust so it can't come off!
Works really well! Cured my rust problem, Fixing to do the same on a 48 Cub also.
