Allen is correct in getting you started, as an add in be sure to clean the suction screen and magnetic filter as well. Early models had a by-pass filter and late did not. If not working properly after changing fluids I would suggest if you have a repair manual to remove the by-pass valve in the control valve and clean nylon screen, make sure valve is not sticking, remove holding valve as well and make sure its not sticking be careful not to lose ball and retainer. If this does'nt fix problem then you will need to do a pressure test on the hydraulic pump and go from there. Just my 2 cents.

One other comment, if you have water in the hydraulic oil then you might look at the shifter boots and replace if dry rotted, especially if the tractor is outdoors and not covered. Also dirt can get in thru the boots as well if dry rotted or torn.

Hi Willie,

First order of business is to change that oil and filter. Then see where things are working at that point.
