I am trying to find a source from which I can get the material insulation sheathing that goes over the plastic wire insulation. I have located a 3/8" diameter synthetic sheathing through napa but can not find smaller sizes or any that are like the original cloth insulation. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bob had the ticket!
The brillmand site had the wiring types I was seeking in various gauges, lengths and color patterns. Materials were ordered and quickly received. Thanks for a great tip.

Get a copy of Hemmings Motor News at the bookstore. There are advertisers who specialize in reproduction wiring harnesses and may be able to help you obtain the old cloth insulation.

NAPA is supposed to have the sheathing in 1/4 inch size. part numbers are:73701-1/4 ; 737103-3/8 ;737104-1/2. This has been the closest to origonal that I've found also. Maybe someone else can enlighten us!
