while i was running a box blade on my TO 30 the lift would not lift up, so after taking the box blade off the lift goes up and stays without moving the lever. I can push it down by hand but when I let it off right back up. I would take any advice on this problem before I take it apart. thanks for any help

You may have a stuck or jamed meetering spool valve, or a dislocated hyd vavle control fork that is dislocated. Also your lever on the right
under the seat may have sliped out of adjustment.That lever controls lift and drop.of the lift arms. I restored a Ferge TO20, and you can get a vidio on the repair of the hyd system
at most farm and tractor supply stores for 20 dollors. it really explains the do's and don'ts.It is called Hyd system repair for your TO20,TO30 Ford 2N,8N&9N tractors. good luck.
