Water temp gauge connection to engine

I need advice on where to find a fitting for installing a water temp gauge on my IHC 404 tractor. The existing fitting on the engine is 1/2" NPT (male thread) the inside thread (female thread) is 5/8". The new water temp gauge (don't know the brand) has what appears to be 14mm fine threads for the fitting that attaches to the engine. Is there anywhere I can purchase an adapter fitting to connect the metric threads to the 1/2" NPT? Thanks.

Mine came from NAPA and had 3 or 4 adapters in the box.

You may want to talk with your local NAPA Auto Parts Store representative. I am willing to bet they can work it out for you.
