i am currently restoring a 1947 farmall h, i can't seem to find out where the voltage regulator is physically located on the tractor. the tractor has been converted to 12 volt system in the past, and i am converting it back original 6 volt.

The cutout relay mounts on the generator, the voltage regulator mounts on front of the rear fuel tank support.

I should have said the rear of the rear fuel tank support, that is, the side next to the steering post.
