Old Hercules ZXB Model engine

I have a hercules 4 Cyl Engine. I think it's 1930's Era. The Model # is ZXB & Serial #is 317226 does anyone know how I can date this motor
I believe possibly it's off a industrial farm machine tractor, generator, etc.. also if i get this running do I need to use leaded gas.

Click on the link for serial numbers chart. I would not hesitate to run it on un-leaded since it's probably got a pretty good build up of lead over the years. I run all of my old tractors, etc. on it and have not seen any detrimental effects for 20+ years.

But My Engine is From The Hercules Engine Co. of Canton, Ohio, I thought that chart was the one also but after further studying that web sight I't
stated that Hercules company only Made Single cylinder engines, and mentions breifly on two other hercules companys,
