I have a seat that is adjustable with a coil spring and what it looks to be a shock absorber on my Ford 600. I want to replace both because the seat is bottoming out when I use the tractor. Not because I need to loose some weight, LOL, LOL. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? Thanks. Dennis

I have the same type seat on my restoration, replaced the shock [which was a Monroe] with another from Carquest. The new one has the same open $ close measurements. I weigh 260# and it does not bottom out and is very comfortable ride.

Sorry I haven't been out to the barn yet. I live in MI also so you know what the weather has been. I'll check tomorrow and send a photo if I can figure how to do it.
