canany one help me set my timing i have everthing set but it fires through the exaust.

Apparently, you have a tractor which would have the side-mount distributor, which looks like a typical automotive distributor, rather that the goofy Ford-designed front-mount distributor the older 'N's had.

These tractors had two timing marks on the flywheel 180 degrees apart, apparently because in some industrial applications the timing hole in the flywheel housing was on the opposite side, and they made a "one size fits all" flywheel with two sets of marks.

If you have timed the position of the distributor to correspond with the marks on the flywheel, you may have done this with the engine 1/2 turn off.
