I have a MF 135 that has heavy condensation under the glass of the tractormeter guage. It comes and goes with changes in humidity. The seal on the guage is obviously leaky but how do you fix that? Is there a way to disassemble it and resealed it somehow?

Shannon.....because of the rolled crimp seal on the meter there's no way to take it apart without destroying the lip ring.....what you can do is take the meter off the tractor and place it under a drop light till it dries,then try to reseal the lip with a sealer like silcone sealant you may have to seal around the case screws and the drive cable nipple too...I have resealed a couple of meters this way.....

If the tractormeter tilts slightly backwards as in my MF35, frequent misting up suggests a pool of water sitting inside the bottom angle of the body cup. In my case this led to the steel weights rusting, seizing up the tach, twisting the hairspring into a tight knot and finally busting the drive cable - an expensive leak! If the design is similar to mine I'd suggest carefully opening the bent lugs on the face, and replacing the (probably shrunken) rubber gasket with a fresh circle cut from a tyre inner tube.
