I want to start on grandpas old SuperC. I can hand crank to turn the engine over. My ? is should i let the engine warm up after i have started it and then dump the oil or should i put an engine cleaner add. in oil then dump or what? The tractor has set idle for about 3 years. Thx for any info

Change the oil, run until warm, change the oil again. It sounds like a waste of oil but the first change will get rid of some the water and sediment in the crankcase. Second change will help clean up the engine. Changing oil often is the cheapest and best maintenance you can do for your tractor. Joe
