I was drilling out a small (1/4") bolt and the drill bit broke off flush with the frame. How do I get that out to finish drilling. The bit is to hard to drill thru. The bit must be in about 1/2" into the broken bolt. Any tricks? Thanks for any help.

If you are on good terms with your local dentist see if he can spot you a couple of used dental burrs, if they are too dull for him to use on teeth and have been sharpened a few times, he may let you have a few, chuck in dremel and cut broken bit out, you can cut the bit or cut aroung it if you have room. the burr is harder than the bit. works fine, lasts long time

Sometimes you can heat the broken bit with a torch to destroy the temper, and drill it out. Might also try welding a nut to the bit, since it is flush with the surface, and unscrew it. Otherwise, you might be the opposite of what you are trying to do with my second suggestion! SATS!
