Bent pto shaft on AC WD

My pto shaft has about 1/2 inch wooble at the splines. The long section from the pto drive coupling to the carrier bearing appears to be straight, so the bend appears to be on the spline side of the carrier bearing.

Should I replace the shaft or can I repair the old one? Any ideas on how to straighten the shaft and check for true myself?

Take it to a machine shop or anyone else with a press and straighten it- run it on v-blocks to check for true. Would be a good idea to remove the carrier bearing, and straighten the whole shaft. Makes it easier to block it in the proper spot to correct the misalignment.
