I recently bought Pat Browning's New 3rd Edition "H" Restoration Guide - 278 pages (jdhpubs.com). It is so well done I just don't want to put it down. The book contains literally hundreds of pictures and diagrams that help tell the story, lots of exciting "H" data I didn't expect to find and haven't seen anywhere else. I couldn't believe what I was seeing as I read on. The carb drilling guide is fantastic as well as the rest of the book - the carb chapter alone spans 36 pages, loaded with pictures. Pat's "H" Service quide, which he has sold separtely is included in this great book and equally valuable, a service manual with helps. You really need Pat's books for your "H", and I need to say this; the resortation guide is a valuable tool for ANY two cyclinder JD tractor. Being a JD "H" restorer, I thought I knew a lot about those tractors, but I was so impressed with Pat's book I thought I would pass on to all of you a great find. It is an easy read and I find it exciting to read also. Pat has a great way of explaining and makes it interesting and exciting at the same time. Thanks Pat! Jim
