Where is the best place to get a roll of gasket material so I can make my own gaskets? What is the best type of material for general use on a tractor (pto cover, breather covers, etc).

Thanks.

I try to keep 3 sizes in my shop, 1/32", 1/16", 3/32". All from NAPA, 24 X 36 sheets.

Get gasket material from a parts store like NAPA, or Fleet Farm has gasket rolls.

Andy.

Don't know your local but if your lucky there's a Fleet Farm near. Best material would be same as OEM.

In many non critical places simple non-corugated cardboard works fine.

soapbox, shoe nd cerial box make great gaskets. Just stencil and cut.. or form with a ballpeen hammer..

I sell some really nice gasket material. It is military surplus. It is 15 inches wide and 66 inches long. Weighs in at 1.19 lbs.per roll. It is soft but real strong stuff. Let me know if your interested. You will like it.
