took apart old lights only 1 wire how do i ground

The lights are grounded thru the bolt or clamp that holds the light. Ron Mn.

I don't know exactly how your lights are, but mine only had 1 wire. That wire went from the bulb holder to the shell of the light and I had a second wire that had a spring over it that actually went into the light bulb holder and was secured to a little plastic doohicky at the back of the light (where the wire would attach from the outside). This was on a Deere, but my guess is that they are all pretty similar.
