I have an all fuel manifold that has a 1/2 " hole in it, what is the best way to fix this? Thank-you, Phil

You can weld it, or have it welded by someone else. I myself don't really like welded up manifolds, so if yours has been repaired previously, I recommend finding a different manifold or a brand new one.

Andy, It appears you don't have any experience with o/a cast iron welding , not with nickel, not with brass, but with a torch , a can of flux , and real cast iron in a stick. Before you condem it you need to do some research , I fix many things that the parts changers say cannot be repaired and usually for a lot less than a replacement .

What are you talking about? I never mentioned anything about what kind of weld to use or how to do it, so how would you know anything about my "experience"???

Phil, The proper way to repair a cast iron manifold is to weld it with o/a and cast iron in stick form. I repair manifolds regularly , Most often you need preheat and post heat . I did an M dual fuel with a small hole ,the material around the hole burned and rusted meaning you have to make larger hole to get back to good base material.
