I think it's 1960 I bought this one year ago, pay it too much (7500$) and you can add about 2000$ for repair ... (sorry I'm not a mecanician, just electronician)
So, as you can see, it's a very good operation for a tractor you doesn't work today. Perhaps it's better I give you some precisions:
Last time, a few weeks ago, I had this problem too.
At the beginning I was thinking I can't do anything but, moving the right lever (long or short transmission) and using the clutch pedal, I was able to move forward or reverse. So I was thinking this was a simple mecanical problem (used parts).
This morning I work with it (for snow) and all was as usual: not too much problem to make it fw/rev. Note that, when it's work, it works good until I push the clutch.
Probably tomorrow I will arrived to put the case so it doesn't matter for my car because, in 15 mn of trying, I will arrived to make it working ... until I push the clutch again ! I search on the web and I'm quite disapointed: it seem that 530 often have cluch problem and need to take the motor out to repair.
If so, I doesn't know what I do because price become too much for me.
