I just replaced the drive wheel now when I crank it, it makes a loud terrible sound. What could this be? Thanks

whats it on???? manual or auto??? If its auto I would say you have distorted the plate when refitting the box, its not fitted properly wrong size or fitted in reverse or could be the wrong plate. Was the starter drive OK. Start with the starter drive then look in the hole get someone to turn the engine by hand (use fan, remove plugs) and check that it turns true. Then look at the old plate and compare what you can see. If nothing you got another plate to replace. If fitted to a manual flywheel it probably not fitted properly. They must be heated to the exact temp to fit. Feel free to email me. Graeme
