I have an H that i am looking to restore, but the gas tank is pretty dirty, and it wants to keep cloging the sediment bowl. I have cleaned it sevral times but it just wont get clean. It looks clean but there is a baffle in the center of the tank making it hard to clean the back side of the tank. Any hits on cleaning the tank would be great. Thanks

you can take the tank to a radiator shop, have them clean it out and put a liner in it. usually cost around 100.00. if yours isnt rusted too bad, what i have done is to strap the gas tank to the rear wheel of a tractor, put 2-3 big boxes of b b's for a bb gun and drive the tractor around for a while.the bb's will knock the rust loose, and you can use a magnet to get them all out of the tank when you are done cleaning. then get a gas tank liner kit, Creme is one brand, and follow the directions.

Not sure what you're using to clean the tank but, this article might be of some help.
