Theres one set of plugs that allow the rockshafts to operate buttttt ttt it takes a different set to make the remote hydraulics work. The other option is the adjustable upper plug which has a removeable outer cap and underneath a knirled nut you turn in or out to change from rockshaft to remote cylinder operation. Of course, the PTO needs to be engaged and turning to operate the non live hydraulic pump. I have a pic of the different plugs but Im not smart enough to post it. Hydraulics aint my thing so if its more complicated then this Im out to lunch, post the question over on the JD board and Im sure you will get the answer maybe even a pic of the correct plugs, one set has a hole in the end the other is blocked which changes the hydrauliuc flow.
