Gentlemen, I have done a successful rebuild of the above tractor but have no pictures of the linkages. The problem is I can't get the revs up above 1400 because the governor limits the rpms. There is a spring return on the right hand side (when seated) that we can see in the parts manual but can't figure out the connection points. I unhooked this spring from where we had it but it still returns at too low an rpm. Any ideas or references to view this apparatus?

Michael, The 300 engine gov & throttle linkage is the same as the VA series engine shown at the link, only rpm differs, 300 is 1750 rpm @ full load & 1875 no load.

Go to the link and click on page G2 S26 & 27. I can scan & email or copy & snail mail the pages from the 300 service manual if this link doesn't get it done.
