Hi,
I recently bought a L775 skid steer. I can't keep the drive-shaft on this thing to save my neck. The first time it came off, it appeared that there was no set-screw holding the key on the engine-side yoke. I put a new key and set-screw in but then it threw the shaft off the gear-box side. There is no key or snap-ring to hold this side on so I put a spring between the two halves of the shaft to keep it from compressing far enough to come off. Didn't work. Still came off. Has anyone ever had this problem or offer any suggestions? Thanks!
