I'm in the process of restoring my 1948 8N. I'm sure I'll find other things I'll need advice on.
Now I'm concerened with my radius rods. Both are bowed up and one is also bowed out.
The next part of my problem is that the holes where the pin fits through the front axle are ovaled and the hole through the axle is also ovaled.
Any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

replacement will be the easiest.

however.. get a floor jack and some chain and some lumber, and bow the radious rod back past true a bit.. and it should be pretty good. Use the lumber to keep the tube from folding.

A shop press works good too.

As for the ovaled holes. You could drill out for next size, or drill out and bushing to standard, or drill out and weld up then drill smooth to standard. If you could find some pipe / tube that was nearly the same ID as the OD o fthe bolts, then you could drill for that pipe.. drive it in, cut it off flush, and then tack weld at the edge of the bushing/parent metal..

All depends on how intracate of a repair you want to get..

i useto take off and put back on up side down and they will slowley bend back. the problem is the bushing in the center axel is worn out with the loader on you push the wheels back hard all the time .them 8&9ns take a lot of abuse and keep going & going & going. old art
