cleaning out and replacing hydraulic fluid on 641

I drained all the fluids to replace the clutch now I am ready to refill the fluids. When I pulled the plug to drain the hydraulic fluid nothing happened until I pushed my finger up through some heavy sludge and then the fluid came out. I was thinking about filling it up with deisel fuel letting it sit and then draining it. Someone told me the deisel would damage the seals someone else said it wouldnt but that if I loosen the sludge it might be worse than just letting it sit on the bottom where it si. Theye are afraid if I loosen it it will get clogged up somewhere. Is there anyway to clean it out or just dont worry about it?

Also how do I refill it? Do I do all the filling at the little hole on the top of the pump?

Also what about the differential should I try to clean it out before I replace the fluid

Does anyone know what kind of fluid to put in the transmission differential and transmission.

And one more question how much oil do I put in the transmission.

I have a shop manual and operators manual on the way but I am in a hurry to get the fluids topped off and get back to using the tractor

Each sump has it's own fill point. Tranny at shifter.. then diffy in back.. and hyds on mid top cover.. all 3 sumps can take UTF.. or you can put gear oil int he tranny/diffy, and aw32/46 in the hyds. Me personally.. I like either utf in all.. or gear oil in tranny/diffy, and utf in hyds.

I'd clean it with diesel.... those seals are imersed in petroleum fluid their whole life... There are dipsticks and fill/level plugs. etc... ( diffy has a big pipe plug for level on the ? left rear axle.. tranny is/. on right sid emid way back.. etc... ) Can't remember between my naa and 660.. etc..
