I'm trying ot remove the left hand brake pedal from the shaft that it is mounted on, on my 1946 Interntional "A". I have removed the set bolt that locates the brake pedal on the shaft, I'm trying to remove the brake pedal off the righthand end of the shaft. I have put penetrant around the brake pedal, and have put a puller on it trying to remove it but it doesn't budge? Does the lefthand brake pedal not remove toward the right end of the shaft for some reason??

I was able to remove mine. After taking the set screw completely out of the pedal, I used a 2 jaw puller and it came off. Had to remove the right brake assembly first so I had enough room for the puller.

I have a bigger problem though, my left brake shaft is seized in the pivot that is normally greased. Seems this thing hasn't taken any grease for the last 20 years or so and finally seized the brake shaft. Any tips on getting the shaft out of that pivot would be appreciated! Can I use a torch to heat it up and get it loose that way? It would be nice to have a left brake again on my A.
