I think i may Have my M dialed in from last year and may throw it in some open classes this year. It is turbocharged, turns 2,000 rpms, 18.4 tires pulls in 3rd and 4th. I think it would be most competitve 4500-5500. I pulled against some strong Molines last year and stayed within 8 ft of first and placed like 6 out of 9. I do have a kill switch and would like to find a blanket just to be safe. I put up a few vids on YouTube of it, a few people have emailed me for pics so there they are!!

What kind of turbo do you use on that M? How do you get it to spool up at only 2000 RPM's? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I honestly would like to know how you have that set up.
Thanks.

You may be able to pull at Rockville during the fair there. Last year there was a Case 900 with a turbo on it that stayed close to the Molines.

Roann, Indiana has a new class/club formed that has a regular turbo class, I wanna say its starts at 5000#,, they have a lite and a heavy,,, Roann is north of US 24 and south of indiana 114,along the state road 15 corridor,, (hope that makes sence) anyways,, 5 mph, turbo gas or diesil, wanna say they got two classes, 5000 and a 7500#. Up to 1972, a real good place to take a stock farm tractor to pull due to the rules made up to protect them. Id have to contact the fellas to know more about it,, but yeah,, I know of a few places you can hook that ol M up to. Chad

Question said: (quoted from post at 16:50:12 04/14/08) Who in Roann has a pull like that

Krom is putting on several pulls over the summer at Roann. They have th old Roann sled, and worked hard to get the sled up and going. I attened one last year, driving my old 460,,,, seen some good tractors there in the turbo classes,,, they are considered open classes,,, yes there is an rpm limit, yes they have hitch and tire rules too,,, but they dont pull with the stockers,,,, but they cn pull with them if they choose. I had a good time, and they did form a new club. I hope they have a great turn out! ChadS
