I broke my weightbar Sun at a pull and thought i might make a new one rather than fixing the old one. Does anyone have any pic of jd rear weightbars, if so could you post them or email so i have an idea of which way to go with it

I need it to be able to hold at least 13 JD or IH weights, i've been thinking of make some of those for on each axle. My current one bolts to the 2 inner axle bolts on both sides and wraps around the power trol. I like this idea but the problem was it pulled the treads out of the top acorn nut when the front end bounce and it also broke the bottom stud. I had almost 1300lb on it luckily they all stayed on and i didnt get DQed. I'd like to keep my weight as far back as possible. Thanks Gpuller for the pic

I can't find the pics of my other G.. you can stack them from tire to tire with a flat back on that tractor..
I pics below are before I put a flat back on that tractor.. I don't pull it heavy so don't need a lot of room, but I can still stack 20 JD weights on it. (thinner new style.)

Gnut there some nice brackets, however i don't use wheelie bars. I cant get rid of the rock shaft since I still use it. I like the idea of the brackets on the drawbar

If you are not going to use wheelie bars... use the two bolts from the outside of the axle housing... and use angle or flat and go straight down.. and then over to the hitch frame.. (left side will look a big L ) You can also build the same for the front side of the axle housing and hitch frame..
But I'd build a set that you can add wheelie bars too.

This is what I use for rear weight brackets. These will hold 5 narrow Deere suitcase weights per side, because the design of the wheelie bars. Have another set where the box that holds the weights is the same length as the 1/2" plate that is bolted to the axle housing, they hold 8 or 10 per side.
