Spark Plugs???

Have done a lot of work on a JD G to make a solid puller. Have not pulled the tractor since any work was done to it, but I'm not sure what I should use for spark plugs and how to determine the heat range to use? I've heard the Autolites are good plugs to use. I know you want as cold of plug as possible without any fouling out problems, obviously.

The ac C88L plugs have always seemed to work best for me

I was running C88L and C87 AC's for a while, but then they changed the design on them. Now the spacer between the nut and the threads is about half as thick, and it lets the nut sink down into the block to where you can't get a wrench or socket on it to tighten or loosen it. I ended up getting the adaptors from R.E.A.M. Corp (http://reamproducts.com/) so I could run the new style plugs.

Autolite 3116 or 478's. AC C88L or Denso 3020. Change the wires to solid core. You don't want resistor plugs or wires on your tractor.

Spiral core wires, are they considered to be resistor wires?

They would be inductive rather than resistive. What do they measure with an ohmmeter?

I DONT KNOW IF ITS CUZ THERE GREEEN BUT CHAMPION D-23'S OR AUTOLITE 388'S HAVE GIVEN ME THE BEST PERFORMANCE. I KNOW THEIR ARE CRTITICS ABOUT CHAMPIONS BUT THATS MY 02 CENTS. DEPENDING ON YOUR FUEL GRADE AND SPARK, GAP WILL RANGE.
HAVE A GREAT TIME PULLIN!
