farmall m with a power problem

i have a farmall m with 326 cu.in. engine i had it down sigorney and it fell on its face in the 5000 classic in 2nd gear it has only 150 psi cylinders preasure what can i do to get or can i get 90hp with out changing the bore or stroke this motor only has 4 hooks on it

Boy, You've got a problem alright...an M with 150 lbs. of compression should do pretty good in a 5000 lb. class in 2nd unless you've got some really oversize and awfully good tires or your tuning job isn't up to par. Now at heavier weight like 6500 where the real 3 plow tractors pull I'd say "Yeah, you do need some more power".

YOUR COMBUSTION CHAMBER IS TOO BIG.You will need to shrink it some how . Change heads or put a dome on top of the piston.About 90 hp is all you will get from the 336 with everything set up right.Probably more like 85.
