One of the reasons I pull is go out and meet people and make friends. I have met alot of people over the years who would be willing to go out of there way to help some one with problems, also have met some that wont do a thing, just turn there back on you and walk away. Jim was the first to congratulate me on making the finals. He also let me borrow a tool so I can get my truck back on the road Sunday morning when he was busy getting ready to pull and arrange loading. He didnt have to, but did very openly and smiling. Thanks Jim. Also a big thanks to the Barbers for going after parts for me Sat afternoon. Wouldnt of gotten home on Sunday without you. Pulling with people like that make it enjoyable and want to come back. Even without a tractor, I will be back next year and owe you all a beer. Once again, thanks Jim Benjamin, And Jody and Alison Barber

Mark Folkedahl

ps Jody, I havent come up yet with a solution for all my belt problems this year on tractors and vehicles. Maybe I should try horses

A John Deere beat a Farmall, lets celebrate. If the Red guys carried on this much when they beat a JD they would never get any rest. Who cares, one guy beat another that is the only story.

hello sUPERm, I was at Sigourney with Mark when he placed 2 years ago and I saw Jim being a cocky jerk and Gary Baker getting smashed and talking, er babbling a bunch of bs and I was in Oskaloosa to see you Mich. guys letting your 10 yearold kids get drunk and look at Hustler mags! Everyone was having fun bashing 2cyls. with that suck,suck-blow,blow crap.I am not a JD person but believe you shouldn't throw rocks and live in a glass house. What goes around comes around. Winning the 5500 is a great feat but not one rub in others face. I have been friends with Mark for nearly 20 years and he is a good sport and whether you like 2cyls. or not you have to give them credit for what they have done with them. dethroned!!
