Which to build?

For the 39 B I have a 5-2 power block was told that it will bolt in. And drill bottom holes
Any have late b for parts( if any can be used)

So I what to build some power,
don"t what to build the biggest tractor out there,
What to stroke it,one that will not require me to move the camshaft.What it to last, will be running stock rpms.

Who is a good persomn to have my crankshaft work done by, what kind and lenght of rods, pistons?

On the B, if you use the 5-2 PB, you'll need to get a later B head (preferably a Heisler), your 39 head won't work. Suggest boring the PB to 5.125", pushing it ahead a little bit and using 5.125" Lycoming (320) pistons. You can cut an offset dome on them and poke it into the head end of the PB. Stroke it to 7.25" - use Waukesha 320 rods on big end, IH Diesel on the little end. Will give you decent power (right around 300 cubes), built very tough (2.625" rod journals vs the "normal" 2.3" Farmall 300 rods).
