I know a couple of us that pulled the black sled (non-propelled) in the lighter classes would like them to either lengthen the chain or move the drawbar up to keep the front ends from going so high.

the track is what it is, weather dictates it. Overall, wasn't bad, kinda tough to figure out. What did stink is that junk black sled. We pulled 3 tractors, 2 on the east (non self propelled) and 1 on the west (black sled). that sled is outdated. Change gears like most boats, not keep stacking evertything but the kitchen sink on the pan to stop people. let people get going then bring it to them. overall great pull, will be back IF they use something other than the "black hole" sled-NATPA people were very friendly and helpful

I have pulled on better and I have pulled on worse, but one thing for sure we all pulled on the same track. I had a great time and took a lot of ragging from fellow Moline Pullers. Good to see the S S Express running so well. The Black Massey really came alive. A little problem with DQ'S but I think a little "Super Glue" will help. HA!HA! Thanks Darlene and Crew!

Art if i hooked as many times as you at one pull i would have to have an endless supply of "Super Glue", or all my parts would bounce off (HA HA HA). Thanks to the crew at Princeton. The worst part about the pull was the weather and pulling in the winter you have to expect to deal with cold miserable conditions some times. Like Art said everyone pulls on the same track. I would also like to thank everyone who gave me a hand at the pull and all who have helped me over the phone especially Ron, Carl, and Captain Hookerus. Thankfully the NATPA is full of people who are willing to help fix problems and you cant ask for a better bunch of people. Despite the weather the trip was great and very enjoyful with Loydd and Clint. By the way Art we are going to have give Captain Hookerus and Jim Johnson a little razzing for missing the pull. Thanks again and see you all at Lincoln.

What's with the name change Art, if that's who you really are? Smile

Can't believe someone is griping about being able to pull. Maybe they need a new hobby. Hope you and Randy had a good time. Glad to hear Babbitt's Massey is running better. See you in Lincoln.

JIM

Must off still been shaking from the ice on the way down. (No name change) Jim, you and Captainhookerus missed a great show. I was sure Randy was going to need a bigger hat. What a difference a couple of weeks can make on a tractor. You and Captainhookerus should get together with Randy and come to Tallmadge. Three days of fun filled pulling, all you can eat Friday night (Good Food). I am two hours away, with three empty bedrooms. PA good place to rest up a couple of days.
