Hi-

About 10-15 years ago, The Hook magazine published an article on the flow characteristics of siamesed intake ports by Mike Holdupp. Anyone know where I can get a copy of the article? Dana looked through the The Hook's remaining back issues, but couldn't find it. She suggested posting here, as she's found it very helpful. Thanks for your time.

You might find something by David Vizard without having to buy the book.

I have most of Vizard's V8 books- but V8's don't have siamesed ports. I'm thinking about adding 3 sidedraft 38MM Mikuni snowmobile carbs to a 230 Dodge flathead, and was wondering about the sort of wave activity present in siamesed ports. FRom what I've heard of the Holdupp article, wave activity was damped down. He was working with a Farmall engine- wonder how similar it is to the Dodge.
